One of the biggest lies we tell ourselves is the silent criticism that no one else hears. How many times have you thought, I’m not good enough or I’m not meant for great things?
My ex-husband was the king of planting negative words in my mind. Over time, I started to believe them—I felt ugly, worthless, and completely burnt out. But part of the problem was that I wasn’t setting boundaries or protecting my inner peace.
Leaving that relationship was the beginning of a transformation. I slowly started incorporating daily affirmations—just one at a time—and before I knew it, they became a habit. I wrote them on my mirrors, stuck them on notes around my apartment, and repeated them until they became my truth.
That journey led me to write Blooming with Self-Love, a book filled with affirmations and gratitude journaling prompts to help others rewire their mindset and step into their best selves.
